Christian Lenart
M.D., DTM
As a specialist in internal medicine and infectiology, a qualified tropical medicine doctor, as well as a general practitioner and emergency doctor, I will be happy to assist you in the exciting preparation for your upcoming trip to the tropics. Thanks to my many years of experience in travel medicine and working with various NGOs on the African continent, I have learned what information is important for your trip and where which vaccination or malaria prophylaxis makes sense.
In my office, I will also assist you in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases that have unintentionally crept in during your trip, as well as infectious diseases from the entire spectrum of infectiology.
I am currently a senior physician at the 7th Medical Department (Department of Emergency Medicine) at the Hietzing Clinic. Before that, I worked at the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Medical University of Vienna.
I completed my training in infectiology and tropical medicine at the Clinical Department of Infectiology at the University Clinic for Internal Medicine I in Vienna, at the Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine in Hamburg and at Kamuzu Central Hospital in Lilongwe, Malawi.
